To mark 21 years of Highlights Rural Touring Scheme, there will be ‘hike for highlights’ taking place across Northumberland and Cumbria.
Over 200 fantastic performances including music, theatre, dance and contemporary craft exhibitions take part across Northern England each year supporting many village halls and communities including ours, Bardon Mill & Henshaw Village Hall.
On Sunday 3rd June you can take part in a sponsored walk* and/or afternoon tea** at Allendale, with music provided by duo Landermason.
*Sponsored Walk
Meet at Allendale Square to walk up to the historic chimneys, bring a packed lunch to enjoy within beautiful surroundings.
Start – Allendale Square
Time – 10:30am
Length – 6.25 miles
Arrive back – approx 2pm
Wander along to Allendale Village Hall or catch a lift on a pony carriage to join in with the afternoon celebrations!

minimum donation of £5.00 on the door (will be split between Allendale Village Hall and Highlights)
Every £1.00 raised will be doubled by The Arts Council.
