“In the summer of 2022, Kenneth Wilson strapped his cello to the back of a fifty-year-old Dawes Galaxy bike, and cycled from Hadrian’s Wall to Rome, performing every day en route. It was quite an adventure – the length of England, through France and over the Alps to Italy, and finally Rome. Every day he played the cello, in scheduled and pop-up concerts, busking, and just responding to the moment.”
“In Highway Cello, Kenneth shares his incredible story with live cello accompaniment.”
“An amazing performance, great poetry. Powerful stuff!” – Richard Farncombe, Music in the Wood.
